Martin J. Prodinsky, age 54 of Pennock, died on Wednesday, January 29 at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 31 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grey Eagle. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 to
11 a.m. Friday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Grey Eagle. Parish prayers
will be at 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home in Grey Eagle.
Martin Prodinsky was born on July 19, 1948 in
Seattle, Washington. On March 17, 1973 he was united in marriage to Marie
Roering at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grey Eagle. The couple resided in
Melrose, where he was employed by Jennie-O Foods. They moved to the Willmar are
in 1977 and he was employed by Willmar Poultry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and
playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Prodinsky of Pennock; two daughters, Julie (David) Maehren of St. Cloud and Janet Prodinsky of Pennock; two grandchildren; mother, Dorothy Jacobs of Grey Eagle; brother and sisters, Jim (Carol) Prodinsky of Melrose, Jane (Dale) Ilgen of Wisconsin, Carol (Deon) Bhargoo of Coon Rapids.
