Martha M. Mutschlechner, age 92, of Long Prairie, died Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at the Long Prairie Memorial Nursing Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Grey Eagle with Rev. Arlie Sowada officiating.
Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at church.
Martha Mutschlechner was born on October 6, 1909 in Innsbruck, Austria to Alois and Notburga (Reich) Oczlon. She married Erwin Mutschlechner on June 7, 1941 in Austria. After WWII they lived in Italy where she was a photographer. In 1966 she moved to Grey Eagle. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grey Eagle.
Survivors include her daughter, Christina Feierabend (Bob) of Grey Eagle; Grandchildren: Anita (David) Sunderman of Round Prairie, Kurt of Mpls., Wieland (Carisa) of Albuquerque N.M., Wolfgang – 29 Palms, CA, Siegfried of Fargo N.D. and 9 great-grandchildren; Melissa, Jessalyn, Amber, Alisha, Rebecca, Jonathan, Anthony, Anika and a baby boy to be born soon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Erwin on July 23, 1954 in St. Vigil in Enneberg, Italy; and brothers, Raphael, Gottfried, Heinrich and Innocenz Oczlon.
Memorials are preferred.
