Kathryn M. Meinz, 92

Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at St.
Mary’s Catholic Church, Melrose for Kathryn M. Meinz, 92, of Melrose who died
Friday, April 12, 2002 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Inurnment will follow in the
parish cemetery.
A gathering will be at the church on Monday
from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Kathryn Meinz was born on August 31, 1909 in Melrose,
Minnesota to Nickolus and Mary (Hemmesch) Miller. She married Elmer Meinz on
January 30, 1932 in St. Paul, Minnesota. They lived in St. Paul until moving to
St. Cloud in 1947. They lived near Big Birch Lake since 1959. She enjoyed
dancing, gardening, sun tanning and being outdoors. Kathryn was a member of St.
Mary’s Catholic Church, Melrose.
Survivors include her daughters, Juanita “Penny”
Chirhart (Jim) of Melrose and
Cleora “Cleo” Kammier (Robert) of St. Paul; 7 grandchildren, 13
great-grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Meinz
on June 17, 1986; brother and sisters, Mathew Miller, Ann Miller and Frances
Koecheler and 1 grandson.
Urn bearer will be Rita Rengel.
