 Your Local Help Desk
When calling your local help desk be sure that you are sitting in front of your computer and it is turned on.  If you have received an error message you will need to be able to tell the technician what the error message reads. So either have the error message displayed on the computer or write down what the error message says. This makes it
easier for the Technician and for the caller.

 Tech Tips & Tricks
Are you finally getting a new computer?  Did you know that you can export your list of favorites to a file and import them back in your new computer. It is as easy as 1-2-3! Just following these steps:

1. From the "File" menu choose "Import and Export...", and work your way through the wizard. On the second screen, choose "Export Favorites". On the third screen you can select which favorites you want to export. The forth and final screen allows you to export them to your file.

2. Once you have your file of favorites, insert the disk in your new computer. From the "File" menu choose "Import and Export.", On the second screen, choose "Import Favorites". On the third screen select drive A and click on your favorites. Continue through the screens by hitting next. On the final screen hit finish and your favorites are now in your new computer!

Arm yourself with the information needed to defend yourself from computer viruses.
